DVD FRANCE Amazon France: 
Paroles et musiques Margot, productrice de spectacles à succès, vit seule avec ses enfants. Enthousiasmée, elle décide un beau jour de donner leur première chance à deux jeunes musiciens pleins d'avenir, Michel et Jeremie ; mais l'amitié des deux copains est vite menacée par le coup de foudre et l'histoire d'amour que vont bientôt vivre Jeremie et Margot... Un des gros succès au cinéma des années 80, le film et sa bande originale ont marqué leur époque. Élie Chouraqui avait trouvé la formule idéale : une histoire d'amour romantique, exploitant le triangle amoureux, les deux amis inséparables qui se déchirent pour une femme ; des acteurs en vogue (Richard Anconina et Christophe Lambert, alors auréolé du succès de Greystoke, Highlander et Subway) ou vedettes (la belle Catherine Deneuve), et la musique, entraînante et très eighties. Le film, longtemps introuvable, paraît aujourd'hui daté mais c'est également cet aspect pop et haut en couleur qui en fait son charme, et c'est au final une très bonne surprise que de le redécouvrir en DVD

Christophe Guy Dénis Lambert was born March 29, 1957 in Great Neck, Long Island, New York. He is the son of French parents, his father a financial expert employed by the United Nations. His family moved away from the U.S. when he was only two, and since his parents traveled a great deal, he was enrolled in Swiss boarding schools. He first became interested in acting at the age of twelve after participating in a school play. His parents however wanted him to have a job with security and saw acting as unsafe, so to please his parents he took a job with the London Stock Exchange, but after about six months he left the L.S.E. to help a friend run a shop in Paris. He also served in the French military at his father's insistence. His father agreed to support Christophe for two years so that Christophe could pursue his love for acting, and after some time he auditioned for and was accepted as a theater student at the famed Paris Conservatoire. His first two films were "La Dame de Coeur" and "Legitime Violence," and then he auditioned for Hugh Hudson for the leading role as John Clayton in "Greystoke, The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes." He first read for Hudson and then did an hour of gymnastics to prove he was right for the role. Christophe's talent did not go undiscovered and in 1985 he starred in Luc Besson's "Subway," for which he earned the French Cesar award as best actor. During his marriage to actress Diane Lane, they starred in "Priceless Beauty" and "Knight Moves" together.
