Dans ce thriller, Sylvester Stallone est le numéro un officieux des
tueurs à gages. Le numéro deux est interprété par Antonio Banderas.
Les deux personnages sont en compétition sur la même cible pour un
contrat de 20 millions de dollars. Mais Stallone va rapidement se
tranformer en protecteur de Julianne Moore, et ainsi devenir à son tour
gibier. Richard Donner maîtrise parfaitement les scènes d'action et
semble prendre du bon temps à faire tout exploser. Antonio Banderas est
également dans son élément et Julianne Moore est excellente dans ce
film à gros budget au scénario un peu absurde

Her three-minute performance as Harrison
Ford's doctor colleague in The Fugitive was enough to convince Steven
Spielberg to cast her--without an audition... JULIANNE MOORE spent the
early years of her life in over two dozen locations around the world
with her parents, a psychiatric social worker and a military judge.
Moore left a definite trail around the world, as one can see by the many
school mates that remember her on the message board. She finally found
her place at Boston University, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine
Arts (B.F.A.) degree in acting from the School of the Performing Arts.
After graduation, she found herself in Manhatten, where she also started
her acting career. Some of the off-Broadway plays she appeared in
included Caryl Churchill's Serious Money and Ice Cream With Hot Fudge.
Later moving into daytime television, Moore appeared briefly on The Edge
of Night. From 1985 to 1988 she played two half-sisters Frannie and
Sabrina on the soap As The World Turns. This performance later led to an
Oustanding Ingenue Emmy Award in 1988.
