Christina Milian Nata da genitori cubani nel New Jersey, e cresciuta a Waldorf, Maryland,  giovanissima, ottiene una parte nel musical teatrale “Annie Warbucks”. Più tardi diventa giornalista junior per Movie Surfers, un programma di Disney Channel.L’energetica personalità di Christina si sente subito nel suo disco d’esordio, “Christina Milian”, uscito in Italia per la Mercury/Universal nel febbraio 2002 e preceduto dal singolo “AM to PM”. Da notare la sua collaborazione con il duo di produttori inglesi Artful Dodger –artefici del successo della musica garage e dell’ascesa alla notorietà di Craig David- che fino ad ora non si sono mai ‘scomodati’ per mettere mani su materiale d’Oltreoceano. Il disco è una miscela esplosiva di pop, r&b, sound latini, e rispecchia il vasto background musicale della Milian.
